TRS-80 Model 3
The next evolution in the TRS line was the Model 3. The only real difference to the Model 1 was that the floppy drives came standard, and it was all packaged up in a single, integrated unit. When I came out I thought this was a great advancement. It wasn't until years later I realized the benefit of the monitor and keyboard being separate. Not only did it allow for more hardware options, but it allowed the user to position them to his liking. It would also allow things like putting the CPU on the floor and having just the monitor and keyboard on the desktop.
