Fred Phelps' minions protest Cornell University for their permissive attitudes towards homosexuals and other social outliers. The Cornell community protests back in force.

Fred Phelps was a lunatic southern preacher known for protesting everything under the sun, including military funerals, jews, homosexual events, and the funerals of people who died of AIDS. In 2007 he sent his minions to the Cornell University campus to protest their permissive attitudes towards homosexuals. There was a huge counter-protest scheduled in response. I brought my camcorder to work with the intent of taping the counter-protest, and by sheer happenstance the route from my office took me right past the site where the Phelps protest was taking place. I edited the footage together for this video short.
