Come2 minutes 30 seconds  ©1999
This video is a compilation of the best come shots from Christopher Westfall's private stock of in-home solo videos. Dating back through many years, there is quite a wide variety of come shots to make up this two and a half minute video. Set to music by Howdy Doody.

Back Story

It was time to produce another video for the MIX Gong Show. After the failure of "Network News 2000" to get any serious attention the previous year, I decided not to try so hard anymore and just do something fun that interested me. The only real criterion I had was to not get gonged.

When I thought about what to do, I started by looking over whatever video I had already shot. I had a couple of tapes that held promise. The very first time I had a video camera in my hands, the very first thing I did with it was to shoot a jerkoff video. It was a practice that I repeated with great frequency from that point on. I wound up with tons and tons of footage of me stroking my cock and shooting loads. I figured that a compilation would make the perfect Gong Show video.

It took a while to review all the footage and pick out the keepers. But the first step in putting it together was laying down the soundtrack. A fraternity brother of mine who was a music major had shared with me his demo tape. I figured if I pinched one of his songs then I wouldn't risk any copyright issues. I would have asked his permission, but if he knew it was for an ejaculation compilation then I was afraid he'd say no. To this day he doesn't know that I used it for this video.

One of the songs on his tape had a nice driving beat to it, and an appropriate running time. I laid down the track and then began pasting clips over it. Picking the clips and sync'ing them to the sound was good practice in matching images to music, both from a technical standpoint as well as thematically. But it was rather labor-intensive. I was still editing analog back then. If this had been in the digital era then I could have easily mixed and matched clips, but as it was I had to rewind and fastforward to the start of each clip I wanted. That took some time.

When it was all done and I watched it back, I thought it turned out well. I thought it might actually have a chance at placing well in the Gong Show competition. I arrived at the program, handed over the tape, and then sat in the audience waiting for it to screen. When it finally did, I didn't get gonged, but I also didn't get a great response. One of the judges said it was "repetitive." I placed third. This was becoming a habit. Every year I placed third no matter what it was I submitted. However after the program ended I kind of got mobbed by people who enjoyed watching my performances. I guess that was the judging that really counted.
